Live Theater: Love Song by John Kolvenbach | Feb. 6-9 | the Wright Opera House
UpstART, Ouray County’s own professional theater company, presents John Kolvenbach’s Love Song, with performances Feb 6 through 9 at the Wright Opera House.
Just in time for Valentine's Day! An all-local cast performs Love Song, by John Kolvenbach at The Wright Opera House. Beane is an oddball who can't figure out how to "people." Joan laments the woeful inadequacy of the human race. Harry just wants to decode Beane and maybe make out with Joan once in a while. A terrifying burglar wants Beane's clothes. Funny, fast paced, and surprisingly touching, John Kolvenbach's slightly warped comedy about love "is a rhapsody to the power of love in all its forms."
